Dehli to Baratpur

Landed in Dehli around lunchtime and after changing up our money to get a huge wadge in return, we met our driver and car and were transported throught the streets of Dehli to our hotel. Driving in Dehli just has to be experienced to be believed!!! Glad I wasn't having to drive. After an hour or so for a wash and brush up we were taken to some gardens where we began to get to grips with some of the common birds about.

Rose-ringed parakeets were everywhere and we found Common Myna, Asian Pied Starling, Grey Hornbill, Red-vented Bulbul, Babblers among others, as well as our first Peacock. We also met with a very engaging little palm squirrel. We ate in the restaurant and went to bed to make up for the overnight flight.
