For out next trip we are visiting Northern India again, with a strong focus on 2 birds and then a completely different area with lots of new birds. It started with the feeling that we really should try and see the Indian Bustard before it disappears completely, added to this was the Indian Treecreeper so we decided to do a week flying from Delhi to the desert National Park and then driving back to Delhi before heading to the foothills of the Himalayas at Pangot and Jim Corbett National Park. With Alan, Brenda, Sean and Jules on board we contacted Asian Adventures, who we did both our past trips with, to organise an itinerary and logistics. Once the itinerary was fixed we sorted out flights with Qatar Airways via Doha.
3 weeks before travelling we went online and ordered our e-visas which came through in a couple of days, sorted out the trip list from Asian Adventures and checked our vaccinations.
All that remains is to sort out the packing list and check in.
