Following an excellent breakfast with a wide choice, including several cereals, eggs, bacon, sausages and pancakes with jam and cream plus breads and croissants we negotiated the secure parking area, loaded up the car and headed out to look for a small nature reserve where we hoped to find Slavonian Grebe.
We followed the instruction in the Gosney Southern Finland book and found the place to park. The reserve is situated beside a large power station complex with a walk along a river and all round the two ponds. We had Great Reed Warbler
